Position Summary:
The Beit Medrash Mentor will assist students with with premarital education content on campus.
Position Responsibilities:
Form relationships - Individualized recruitment & meetings
Arrange personal meetings with registrants to best understand their social interests
Facilitating match suggestions
Follow up with YSLinks registrants from the S. Daniel Abraham alumni
Promote relationship building education materials
Document those who have had personal meetings, track activity and success
Brainstorming meetings (frequency to be determined)
Mashgichim and Rebbeim at YU
YUConnects staff
Young couple Ambassadors
Coach & mentor those who are building relationships
YUConnects will provide supervision and a listing of professional counselors should further intervention be necessary
Experience & Education Background:
Bachelor's degree
Rabbinical ordination preferred
Familiarity with YU campus community
Familiarity with YU faculty
Skills & Competencies:
Strong communication skills
Ability to foster relationships

Salary Range:
$28.50-$28.50 per hour
