The Membership Coordinator for ADED is responsible for managing all aspects of the membership program, ensuring exceptional member experiences, and supporting the growth and retention of the organization’s membership base. This role involves engaging with current and potential members, coordinating membership drives, and maintaining accurate membership records. The membership coordinator plays a crucial role in fostering a sense of community among members and promoting the organization’s mission and values.
Membership is at the heart of our association and as such, we are looking for a candidate that has excellent customer service skills and demonstrates the importance of maintaining high levels of membership satisfaction while recruiting new members to meet demand for service in this unique field.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field (preferred)
Previous experience in membership management, customer service, community engagement or association management.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in using membership management software, Access Database, and Microsoft Office Suite products
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Understanding of the organization’s mission, values, and objectives.

ADED (The Association for Driver Rehabilitation Specialists) is the professional association for driver rehabilitation specialists and is comprised of professionals who work with persons with disabilities, the aging, and medically at-risk drivers to facilitate driving independence and, when necessary, a graceful retirement from driving. The organization provides education, research, and support to its members working in the allied health, driver education, driver training, and automotive mobility fields; promotes professional excellence and thought leadership; and advocates for safe processes and solutions through the development of guidance documents and best practices for the delivery of driver rehabilitation services. With over 1,000 members worldwide and over 400 active Certified Driver Rehabilitation Specialists (CDRS®) in the U.S. and Canada, ADED is the only organization in North America to offer the CDRS credential. ADED also offers additional credentials that recognize specialty services within driver rehabilitation (Older Driver Badge, for example), and a microcredential (Driver Rehabilitation Professional) to recognize those who have achieved the skills necessary to of...fer basic and low technical services. Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer, ADED employees fulfill the roles of: Director of Education & Credentialing, Membership Coordinator, Education Coordinator, and Clerical Assistant. We are a small staff crew serving an international membership supported by an active and enthusiastic board of directors and strong policies and procedures to guide practice and delivery of programs and services.
