Institution Description: The Advanced Academic Programs (AAP) is a division of the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences at Johns Hopkins University (JHU). Position Description: The Advanced Academic Programs (AAP) division seeks non-tenure-track adjunct faculty to teach 473.665 Human Intelligence Operations within the MSIA program. The course will be taught fully online/asynchronously beginning Spring 2024. Candidates with online course development and teaching experience and those with experience teaching and engaging students from diverse backgrounds are of particular interest.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
An advanced degree with a master's degree at minimum
10-15 years of professional work experience within the relevant intelligence fields
Course development experience is a must. This position requires completing a course currently under development, which will be compensated under a separate contract, and teaching the course under a new contract beginning in January 2024, spring semester. Preferred Qualifications:
A terminal degree in political science, international relations, or in a relevant field.
1-3 years of graduate-level teaching experience
Online teaching experience
The background to teach a course specifically in human intelligence operations, featuring collection, counterintelligence, covert action, etc., preferably in the international arena.
