1. With the Director and other faculty and clergy stakeholders, plan and oversee all musical and liturgical aspects of the series of choral services. This includes hiring and training all liturgical leaders, managing the selection process of music, prayers, and other ritual components. 2. With the Director of the liturgical choir, recruit, audition, hire, and manage all members and substitute members of the ensemble. This includes working with the ISM communications office in soliciting applications, managing a two-level audition process (recorded and live), and managing all communications, scheduling, fiscal, and logistical aspects of the functioning of this choir. 3. Engage and manage all supporting musicians for the series of choral services, including organists, soloists, and instrumentalists as needed. Organize access to organs and manage any use of portable instruments (portativ organs, harpsichords, pianos, etc.). 4. Supervise the production of all published service leaflets for the series. Hire and manage student and casual support, collect, and edit all materials for each document, write or edit program notes as needed. Manage all copyright issues. 5. Liaise with clergy and staff of each venue where choral services are held. Manage schedules and any rental fees for space usage, work diplomatically with the space owners to ensure proper decorum at all times for all constituencies and ensure that all spaces are treated respectfully. 6. Liaise with Yale students of sacred music, manage communications, logistics, and pedagogical program to create the best learning environment in this program. 7. Liaise with ISM communications staff to advertise each liturgy and communicate its contents and other critical information. 8. Manage all aspects of the choral, instrumental, and liturgical library related to the functioning of the series of choral services. With the ensemble director, plan repertoire, purchase music and ensure it is properly catalogued and organized, distribute music to choir singers and instrumentalists in a timely fashion. 9. Manage all aspects of the calendar for this series, liaising with ISM and other university calendars as well as calendars of rehearsal and performance venues. 10. Manage all aspects of new commissions for the ensemble, including negotiating contracts, selection, and approval process for all aspects of the new work, and payment to the composer. 11. Manage all aspects of occasional regional tours or guest appearances for the choir, including travel, housing, and other logistics. 12. Manage all recording projects, both commercial and archival, including ensuring that streaming and other digital dissemination have proper rights clearances and management of performer media releases for all recording projects. 13. Attend and evaluate all services and communicate feedback as needed to stakeholders in a timely fashion. 14. Keep current with university systems 15. In consultation with Yale organ faculty, direct the Great Organ Music at Yale series - a series of 5-6 guest organ recitals each year. Recruit guest artists, negotiate contracts, oversee all logistical and programmatic aspects of the series including schedule of halls, preparation of instruments, publicity, printed program, and interface with Yale students. 16. In consultation with Yale organ faculty, plan, organize, and operationalize summer outreach to students and leaders in the field of organ and church music at Yale. Assist with recruitment of teaching artists, negotiate contracts, oversee all logistical and programmatic aspects of the event including scheduling of halls, preparation of instruments, and publicity. Plan and coordinate student recruitment and auditions. Develop and implement metrics to gauge the success of the event including statistics on the numbers of students who apply and the attendance figures at the public concerts. 17.
