Job Overview
The Administrative Assistant for the Clinical Research Management Office (CRMO) supports the CRMO Administrative Director (AD) and the CRMO office manager at the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center (LCCC) in duties include but are not limited to:
Maintenance of Administrative Director's calendar; schedule and prepare for meetings; prepare meeting agendas, handouts, presentations, and document meeting minutes
Serve as a liaison between the CRMO and Human Resources related to new positions and new hires; coordinate candidate interviews and new hire paperwork and processing
Serve as office manager; provide administrative support to CRMO leadership, management team, and staff members, ensure all operations run efficiently and effectively; oversee basic office functions
Responsible for travel, equipment, supplies, and reimbursements
Attend appropriate meetings; participate in or coordinate special projects; and serve on committees to represent the CRMO
Perform all duties in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. Adheres to Georgetown University Medical Center's philosophies, policies, and SOPs. Works in compliance with Human Subject Protection regulations, patient confidentiality/HIPAA requirements, and Good Clinical Practice.
Work Interactions
Reporting to the CRMO Administrative Director, the Administrative Assistant also interacts with:
CRMO Management team and staff members
Georgetown and Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center clinicians and staff
Clinical trial sponsors, auditors, and study monitors
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalency
2 to 4 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Ability to work independently and function within a team
Strong attention to detail
Reliability
Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities
