The part-time Membership Assistant provides overall support to ACC’s Membership operations by providing customer support to existing and prospective members.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with the recruitment of members, by gathering new prospect information from various sources and entering data into the AMS to achieve annual new member goals.
Input data (new member applications, updates to member records, subscriptions, process online and “front door” batches) into the AMS, performing data quality checks to ensure that the system is always accurate and current.
Respond to membership inquiries received by email, regular mail, and telephone, providing follow-up as needed.
Responsible for reconciling lockbox batches to ensure all payments received by the bank have been entered into the database.
Research member records as requested by staff, volunteers, and members.
Handle appropriate administrative duties for the department to include record-keeping and following up with communications to members, including generating and sending individual invoices as needed.

EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED is required. Associate degree is preferred.
WORK EXPERIENCE
At least one-year experience in association sector or other demanding client base
Operating membership programs/software on similar database preferred.
Communicating with customers/members of private sector organizations
Proficient in learning new technology
Strong analytical and critical thinking
Ability to track, analyze and communicate data effectively.
Superb Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience in multiple coding languages such as HTML, CSS, PHP, Java, and Python. Solid understanding of front-end and back-end development.
Extensive experience with content management systems and eCommerce platforms.
Proven success in developing and executing web development strategies that drive business growth.
Data-driven with strong quantitative and analytical skills.
Excellent team player who values other views and can earn stakeholder confidence quickly and exert influence.
