Position Summary

This is a PART TIME position, working 1, 12 hour shifts/week! We are currently hiring for a ""MID-shift"", 1 PM - 2:30 AM. Must have experience in triaging patients who are calling into the hospital looking for specific care and doctors. Candidate must have a minimum of 1 - 2 years’ experience working as a clinical nurse, preferable in a hospital setting. Come join our team and help our kids!

This position is accountable for coordination and acceptance of information regarding direct admissions and transfers to Phoenix Children`s Hospital. Responsibilities also include coordinating all aspects of patient placement within the facilities, and partnering with nursing and other clinical operation departments to facilitate patient access, throughput, and capacity.

Education

• Two year (ADN) degree in nursing, a four year degree (BSN) in nursing, or a Diploma Nursing degree. (Required)
• Bachelor`s degree in Nursing or currently enrolled in an RN to BSN program. (Preferred)

Experience

• Two years Clinical RN experience. (Required)
• Pediatric experience. (Required)

Certifications

• Current State of Arizona RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure according to Arizona law prior to start date. (Required)
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association.
  (Required)
• Current PALS certification.
  (Preferred)
