Kent State University is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as the Graduate Assistant for Athletic Administration. This two-year position will report to the Associate Athletics Director, Athletics Chief of Staff and will assist with department wide administrative duties and athletics human resources. Evening and weekend hours are required.

Examples of Duties/Essential Functions:
Assist with the scheduling and execution of department level meetings (e.g. All-Department, Head Coach, IAC).
Assist with the coordination of the VP, Athletics Director’s office Communications/Calendar.
Creation of visual presentations for various constituents.
Creation of event briefings and other meeting materials.
Conducting departmental research.
Human Resources Functions:
Assist with the day-to-day operations of athletics human resources.
Assists with planning and execution of athletics onboarding process.
Assist with HR files and record collection to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
Assist with VP, Athletics Director’s hospitality areas for home events.
Assist with VP, Athletics Director’s game day operations for home events.
