Saint Francis University, a member of the NCAA Division I competing in the Northeast Conference, invites applications for the positions of Graduate Assistant Coach- Men’s and Women’s Track & Field and Cross Country and Graduate Assistant Coach- Men’s and Women’s Track & Field.
The Graduate Assistant Coaches are directly responsible to the Head Coach to assist with all aspects of a Division I track & field and/or cross-country program.
The candidates must have a commitment to adhering to all rules and regulations of Saint Francis University, the Northeast Conference, and the NCAA. In addition, the candidates must understand and actively support the mission of the Department of Athletics and Saint Francis University.
Bachelor’s degree required. Intercollegiate competitive or coaching experience required. Division I experience preferred. Specific expertise in endurance events and/or cross country is preferred for one position. Experience in sprinting, hurdling, or jumping events is preferred for the other. Experience in other events will also be considered. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills are essential.
Compensation for position is tuition remission in a Saint Francis University master's degree program, plus a stipend. Candidates must be admitted into a master’s program at Saint Francis University in order to qualify for positions.
