As an active team member of the Creative Instructional Technologies (CIT) team, the CIT Administrative Assistant will have baseline administrative knowledge of the resources and services provided by the following departments: Academic Affairs, Technology Services, Studio Operations, and Academic Computing. This position will work closely with the Associate Vice President, Instructional Services and the Associate Director, Academic Computing providing organizational, administrative, and event support.
*Note - This is a part-time 25 hours/week position.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
CIT Administration Support- 80%
Budget
Creates documentation of all cost centers / gifts and associated business units, spend categories, etc.
Runs and distributes quarterly pre-established custom budget reports for all CIT cost centers
Portal
Manages KB policy library
Reviews CIT content across Portal for integrity and consistency, testing links frequently
Updates CIT Portal page content as needed
Manages and updates the CIT shared calendar
Annually assists with the organization and documentation of all phases of the computer lab refresh
Under the direction of supervisor, processes purchasing requests, creates requisitions, and tracks and confirms payments
Contributes to project planning, documentation and implementation to include proposals, updates and status reporting
Supports in documentation of overall policies and procedures related to new academic software requests
Inventories and documents systems and software within the functional area of responsibility
Supports in the coordination and interaction with outside vendors and service
Provides baseline support to team members during vacation or busy periods, as required
Performs other duties as assigned
Event Coordination and Support - 20%
Assists during special events, including student resource fairs at each semester start, in tableling, handing out flyers and providing information to appropriate audiences.
Provides assistance with the planning and organization of the annual CIT retreat.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
2 years experience in providing administrative support and/or event coordination, preferred in public administration, education, arts administration, cultural arts, or similar environment.
Prior experience working in a higher education environment is preferred.
Demonstrated communication and organizational skills.
Computer proficiency is required.
Must know general office management and fundamental processing of administrative details.
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills; strict attention to detail; ability to work successfully in a team environment with diverse individuals, including staff, student, and faculty.
Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks, assimilate details about the range of Creative Instructional Technologies resources and services and apply them effectively is essential.
BA degree preferred.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The range for the position is $24.00 - $26.00 per hour.

CCA covers an average of 91% of the medical plan cost for the employee only and an average of 82% for employees with dependents. POSITION DETAILS:
CCA considers a full-time work week to be 37.5 hours per week.
Schedule: This position is a part-time 25 hour a week position. Monday - Friday, 9am-5:00pm
Work Mode: Hybrid
This position is covered under the staff union collective bargaining agreement and will be required to contribute to union dues/agency fees.
