The Physical Education, Recreation and Athletics Department (PERA) is seeking an individual with experience working within a community of diverse students and colleagues. Successful candidates will by their teaching, administration, leadership or service demonstrate they can contribute to the diversity and excellence of athletics, the department and our community. PERA is currently accepting applications for an Assistant Coach of Women’s Soccer. This part-time faculty position does not include benefits. It is appointed on an annual basis.
Responsibilities: Lead in managing all aspects of the goalkeeper program within the soccer program. Assist in managing all aspects of a Division III women’s soccer program, including but not limited to training and match preparation, scouting reports, support of student-athletes, share in the national recruiting effort, video analysis, statistics tracking, player skill/leadership development and organization and implementation of fundraising activities. The successful candidate will also encourage academic and athletics excellence and adhere to all rules and regulations set forth by the College, NCAA and New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference.
Start Date: August 1, 2023
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred and 1-3 years of work related experience. CPR/AED certification required. The candidate should have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, a strong work ethic, and possess the ability to multi-task and work autonomously. Valid driver’s license and clearance to drive College vehicles required. The successful candidate will have to complete a background check as a condition of employment.
