As a member of Transportation and Traffic Management, this position conducts safety and training courses including Commercial Drivers License requirements and Campus Area Bus routes. Creates and retains training records for the department. Conducts driving evaluations. Provides coaching and feedback to drivers regarding their performance. Attends meetings and trainings as needed. Must be able to work evenings and weekends. Must possess a valid commercial drivers license with passenger and airbrake endorsements.

80% - Conducts both classroom and on-road training for Commercial Drivers License (CDL). Ensures that new drivers receive the Entry-Level Driver Training as required by FMCSA. Trains on proper pre-trip procedures, maneuverability exercises and on-road driving procedures required to obtain a CDL.
20% - Creates and retains training records for the department. Conducts driving evaluations. Provides coaching and feedback to drivers regarding their performance. Attends meetings and trainings as needed.
