Lycoming College is hiring an Assistant Field Hockey Coach! This position is a part-time coaching position and is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in all aspects of Lycoming College’s NCAA Division III Field Hockey program.

What will I do in this role?
Organize and conduct practices, conditioning programs and competitive events. Participate in fundraising through Warrior Club programming. Promote the Field Hockey Program – assisting with social media. Recruit student-athletics who meeting the College’s admissions requirements. Monitor the academic success of student-athletes and collaborate with faculty, Assistant Deans and key personnel to promote academic success. What are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree required. Collegiate playing and/or coaching experience required. Goalkeeper experience is a preferred. Self-motivated candidate that possesses the ability to recruit, teach, and coach highly talented student-athletes. Current CPR / First Aid Certification required or ability to obtain prior to starting. Ability to pass a motor vehicle record check for the necessary travel is required What We Offer!
This position is a part-time position that will work 1,450 hours annually at $7.25 per hour. This position is eligible for our excellent retirement benefits! Retirement contributions where eligible employees receive a guaranteed 3% contribution from the College and receive a dollar-for-dollar match on employee contributions, up to 6%, for a total maximum retirement contribution from the College of 9%.
