Minnesota State University Moorhead is currently accepting applications for a graduate or part time women’s soccer coach. The coach will be involved with the day-to-day administration of the Division II soccer program and must attend all sport-related activities as required.
Essential Duties:
•Program administration: Attending and participating in staff meetings (compliance, practice planning, academic, strength & conditioning, individuals), assisting with travel arrangements for competition, managing players’ equipment needs; other administrative duties as assigned.
•Technical instruction: Assisting in practice and game preparation, including but not limited to training goalkeepers; attend all practices and games; preparation and editing of game film and scouting reports.
•Fundraising: organize and participate in fundraising activities as assigned.
•Recruiting: Assisting in all aspects of recruitment of prospective student/athletes for the program; specifically, by evaluating talent at tournaments and high schools, creating correspondence, managing files, evaluating film, assisting during campus visits, and developing contacts for the program
•Provide academic support and mentoring of student athletes
•Scheduling, organization and administration of camps and clinics
•Abide by NCAA, NSIC, and MSUM rules and regulations and pass NCAA recruiting exam on annual basis.
•Participating in other duties assigned by the head coach and athletic administration.

•Position comes with graduate credits dependent upon salary should the applicant wish to attend graduate school. •Adjunct 10-month position

Minnesota State University Moorhead Dragon Athletics competes at the NCAA Division II level in the highly competitive Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. Dragon Athletics is comprised of almost 400 student-athletes competing in 16 varsity sports and two spirit squads. With a population of more than 170,000, the Fargo-Moorhead area community is the largest metropolitan area between Minneapolis/St. Paul and Spokane, Washington. The community is home to around 25,000 college students who attend three 4 year universities and a 2 year community and technical college.
