Enters benign gynecology, gynecologic oncology, urogynecology, and family planning surgical data from Epic EMR into REDCap database.
Data includes date of surgery, surgeon, pertinent medical and surgical history, type of surgery, surgical complications, length of stay, operating room times, and 30-day post-op complications and pathology.
Uses subject matter and best practices knowledge to perform lab and/or research-related duties and tasks. Works independently to assist with project design.
Guides data collection, evaluation and analysis. Designs and manages databases. Writes reports, articles and manuscripts.
Presents research findings at meetings and conferences, as well as to funding agencies. Conducts literature reviews. Develop and maintain liaisons and effective working relations with groups and individuals, agencies, and the public to encourage cooperative management strategies or to develop information and interpret findings.
Performs other related work as needed.
Â Advanced degree in related field.
5 years of experience as a research professional, specifically within the relevant field of study.
Experience working with OB/GYN department.
Experience with faculty development and/or academic affairs.
Technical Skills or Knowledge:
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe.
