• Teaching assignments include American Sign Language LOTE Level 1
• Teacher will work with the World Languages Department Chair and Dean of Curriculum to develop ASL Levels 2 and 3 to be offered in a subsequent year.
• The candidate should be a self-starter, very knowledgeable in their teaching field, flexible, and passionate about educating young adults.
• The candidate should be committed to developing and practicing cultural competence in their role as teacher and colleague.
• The candidate should also have experience with and be committed to developing best practices to support remote teaching and learning.
• Experience with project-based learning, inclusive instruction, and/or diversifying curriculum is preferred, but not required

FTE to be determined by number of teaching sections assigned, among other responsibilities as a member of the World Languages Faculty.

• Experience and qualifications to also teach Spanish LOTE Levels 1-3 highly preferred.
