Part Time Lecturer - Informatics (Toronto)

About the Opportunity

Responsibilities:

Instructional areas included, but are not limited to Informatics (i.e., Information Technology and Management), with particular expertise in database management, system design and development, IT infrastructure and network, information security management, and cloud computing. The mission of the Master of Professional Studies in Informatics program is to reskill and upskill information technology and management among working professionals. The program prepares students to be competent in IT management, with a focus on information security management, cloud computing, and user-experience design. The degree is deeply rooted in experiential learning that is closely linked to professional applications in the work force, and prepares students for entry-- and mid--level roles in security analyst, user experience engineer, and cloud architect or cloud engineer.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualification: Masters in an aligned discipline and IT-industry experience.

Preference for candidates with a PhD in a sciences field, or similar.

Demonstration of teaching, coaching, and/or training is required, with a history of successful teaching (online/on ground) at the graduate level is strongly preferred.
