The Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture, Merchandising + Design houses 14 different areas in art, architecture, design, and merchandising . Our students are encouraged to learn collaboratively and across-disciplines, while immersing themselves in a particular area of study. Additionally, the school's positioning as part of the College of Arts and Sciences allows us to equip graduates with the insights and values of a classical liberal arts education.

Established in August of 2016, the Eskenazi School merged together the departments of studio art and apparel merchandising and interior design. The school's formation represents key elements of IU's Bicentennial Strategic Plan --specifically its stated commitments to student success, building a prosperous and innovative Indiana, and moving toward a culture of building and making.

Building on the outstanding reputation of faculty and programs, the school offers new and established degrees that teach students artistic and design expertise in a global context, coupled with instruction in merchandising and product development.

Models will report directly to the instructor of the course/session in which they have been selected to pose. Successful models create a variety of poses as directed by the instructor. Modeling sessions are scheduled at the discretion of the instructor based on the needs of studio art courses.

• Performs as a live model, often sitting for up to 3 hours at a time.
• Poses clothed or unclothed* (only for those that indicate they are willing to pose unclothed).
• Holds a variety of poses, including standing poses, without movement, for varied durations; and/or sequential poses when instructed.

*Current students who major or minor in the Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture, Merchandising + Design may not be hired as an unclothed model, however they may be hired as a clothed model.

• Prior experience a plus.

• Ability to appropriately, sensitively, and professionally interact with instructors and students.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, to work assigned schedule, including evenings and weekends, and to arrive on time.
