Position Overview
Country Day is seeking a software and technology savvy communications professional to serve as an assistant and project manager for our Director of Marketing and Communications. This position is charged with management of many digital technology platforms to assist in the maximized usage of the Blackbaud Finalsite website platform and lead digital communication across many admissions, advancement and brand marketing strategies. The successful candidate will have experience with website management, digital messaging, and possess basic graphic design skills. The ideal candidate would also have experience with multi-channel digital messaging. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work as part of a team are a must.
This role requires the candidate to:
Manage digital marketing footprint through an integrated online presence, including outward facing school website content and media listings/profiles, inward facing CavNET(Blackbaud software) content, online messaging platforms and email campaigns, multiple newsletters and social media.
Manage website & CavNET (Blackbaud) including additional page/event/content creation as needed, blog/news posts, and on-page SEO
Create graphic layout and manage distribution of internal and external communications including but not limited to multiple school-wide newsletters, emails, event promotions, and auto-generated digital marketing communications.
Manage Google analytics, both tactically and strategically to inform our online digital experience across the website and digital channels
Analyze and report on digital listings/placements/advertising, website metrics and overall digital user experience.
Work with photography, video, and multimedia libraries to assist in creating and generating social media content as needed.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of three (3) years of digital marketing management experience required.
Technical skills that support the essential job duties and responsibilities as described above. Finalsite experience is ideal.
Demonstrated experience with website content management and design, digital communication campaigns and workflows.
Ability to multitask, prioritize issues/escalations, and manage many projects simultaneously.
School requirements also include: Background check, First Aid/CPR training (school sponsored), and a negative TB result.
