NYU Langone Hospital - Brooklyn, founded in 1883, is a full service 450-bed academic teaching, tertiary care hospital. It includes a Level I Trauma Center, a N.Y.S. designated Stroke Center, STEMI Center, and a bariatric center of excellence.
We currently have the following opportunity available:
Pediatric Hospitalists, Part-time hospital based physicians, to oversee patient care for the Pediatrics Inpatient Unit and Newborn Nursery. Responsibilities include care of admitted pediatric patients and newborns, as well as attendance of deliveries (over 3,500 per year) in conjunction with the support of an in-house Neonatologist as well as supervision of nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and medical students. There is also an expectation for significant participation in Quality and Safety initiatives. Candidates must have a strong commitment to clinical excellence, have an MD/DO and be board-eligible or board-certified in Pediatrics. There is flexibility for the start date based on the availability of the candidate. Salary range: $90,000 – $126,000.
