The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position Summary
Part-time Mental Health Nurse Practitioner needed to join an innovative clinical research team specializing in Lyme and/or other tick-borne diseases. Our focus is on ???Long Lyme??? which can lead to fatigue, pain, and mental health and cognitive disorders. Our nationally prominent center conducts research to identify which treatments work best. The NP will evaluate patients, conduct physical exams, monitor and treat patients during the study, work collaboratively with the research team and ensure the study protocol is conducted well and patient care is optimized. Our team includes specialists in psychiatry, psychology, nursing, and family medicine. The NP will work closely with the principal investigator and study coordinator to optimize patient care. Current and future interventions examine the impact of neuromodulation (e.g., vagus nerve stimulation, transcranial direct current stimulation), ketamine, and possibly psilocybin. We have regular case conferences and seminars. Our recruitment starts immediately and extends to the spring of 2023. This is an ideal position for a research-oriented clinician interested in participating in a national effort to improve the lives of individuals with chronic multisystem illness. Responsibilities

Treatment of participants as per research protocol.
Participate in the ongoing evaluation of safety of participants.
Participate in research meetings and supervision of junior staff.
Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in education and experience. 7 years related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's preferred;
2 years of clinical and/or research experience.
Prior experience with data management programs.
Other Requirements
Must successfully complete all online systems training requirements.
NYS Nursing License
Graduate of a U.S. NP program with a Master's Degree and training in Mental Health.
