1. Meets and exceeds standards of customer service and professional appearance established by the department. 2. Cleans, maintains, and removes trash from areas such as, but not limited to, offices, kitchens, meeting rooms, dining rooms, performance space, bathrooms, common spaces, trash and equipment storage areas, locker rooms, stairways, hallways, and corridors. Uses equipment and cleaning tools such as, but not limited to, dishwashing machines, rug shampoo machines, pot washing machines, high pressure washers, floor scrubber, steam cleaners, mops, brooms, squeegees, cleaning cloths, sponges, pails, brushes, and vacuum cleaners to clean but not limited to pots, pans, tables, chairs, white boards, fixtures, floors, walls. 3. Receives delivery orders, maintains adequate supplies, replenishes stock rooms, and delivers supplies throughout the unit. 4. Assists in all aspects of catering operation as needed such as: function preparation, delivery, retrieval, and storage. Set-ups, reset and breakdowns event equipment, portable catering equipment, and lounge seating as required; including but not limited to, chairs, tables, grills, carts, sinks, handwashing stations, buffet carts, and general catering equipment. 5. Assists other employees in the performance of their jobs, as directed by supervisors, using the necessary equipment in the performance of these jobs. 6. Observes safety and sanitation standards and practices always. Adheres to all department and government health codes. 7. Performs related duties as required or assigned within job classification. 8. Works schedule may vary weekly according to the needs of the operations and may require overtime.
