The Department of Endodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago is seeking qualified candidates for several faculty positions from 10% FTE to 40% FTE (part-time) in the non-tenure clinical track for the Pre-Doctoral and Post-Doctoral education programs.

The Department seeks individuals with a strong commitment to interdisciplinary care and willingness to engage with all departments in the College. Responsibilities will include didactic and clinical teaching responsibilities at the predoctoral and postgraduate levels.

Candidates must have an earned DDS/DMD (or equivalent) degree, be eligible for licensure in Illinois, and have completed a CODA approved Advanced Dental Education Program in Endodontics. Board eligibility is required and Board certification in Endodontics is preferred. The successful candidate should have a minimum of two years teaching experience in Endodontics with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and student mentorship, scholarship, and service. Extensive clinical experience is desirable. The preferred candidate should demonstrate the ability to promote an equitable, inclusive and diverse scholarly environment. An advanced degree (M.S., MEd, PhD, etc) is desirable. Approximately one day/week intramural or extramural clinical practice opportunity is available.
