Position Summary:
The Unit Service Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and performing a broad range of clerical support functions in the nursing unit. Specific duties include performing reception functions. collecting and compiling patient data. assembling medical records. and assisting with patient admission/discharge. Performs routine patient care functions as needed and will perform other related duties as required.
Salary Range:
Hourly Rate Minimum $20.85 Midpoint $23.36 Maximum $25.87
Required Qualifications:
Must be able to work variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Prior work administrative/clerical experience, preferably in a medical setting
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
Licenses and Certifications:
Basic Life Support(Required)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual skills in English and Spanish and/or Vietnamese
Understanding of medical terminology and Universal Precautions
