Description The Department of Management at Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri, is recruiting adjunct faculty to teach the following graduate-level, Information Technology Management (ITM) courses, at the University's San Antonio Campus in Texas:
ITM 5000 Information Technology Management: Overview
ITM 5100 Information and Communications Systems and Networks
ITM 5200 Project Management of Information Technology
ITM 5300 Procurement and Contract Management for Information Technology
ITM 5400 Systems Analysis, Design, and Implementation
ITM 5600 Information and Communications Security
ITM 6000 Final Project in Information Technology Management
*The hybrid classroom instructor should have experience teaching in the classroom and have a working knowledge of Zoom. The hybrid classroom will likely have students physically in the classroom and remote students online, joining the class via Zoom.
Location: Webster Groves Campus-WEBG
Minimum Qualifications Masters degree in management information systems, information technology management, business administration, or a closely related field is required. The instructor must demonstrate academic proficiency in one or more masters level courses related to the subject matter of the courses being taught, and be able to teach all of the course syllabus topics.
The Doctorate in management information systems, information technology management, business administration, management, or a closely related field is strongly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications Instructors with a masters degree must have at least five years of professional experience in job positions related to the ITM program. Instructors with a doctoral degree in business, management, management information systems, or a closely related field must have three years of relevant professional experience in positions related to the ITM program. Professional certification (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CISM, PMP, CCNA, ACP) in the discipline or subject matter taught is highly desirable.
