Columbus School for Girls seeks to hire an energetic Upper School Mathematics Long Term Substitute. The term is January through April.
Major Functions and Responsibilities:
Teach four or five sections of Upper School mathematics courses: Precalculus (2), Precalculus/Calculus A (1), and Advanced Statistics (1). Knowledge of Differential Equations is preferred, but not required.
Independently design and implement lesson plans and assessments. Many materials will be provided to work from.
Provide timely and proactive communication with students, parents, and advisors about student progress.
Lunch is provided daily from 12:45-1:15.
Qualifications and Experience: A Bachelor’s degree is required. Master’s degree and prior teaching experience preferred.
