Required Qualifications: (as evidenced by an attached resume) Bachelor's degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in Psychology or related field by time of starting date. Ability to demonstrate professional competence in research activities.
Preferred Qualification: Research experience. Experience with scheduling or recruiting research participants by telephone. Experience conducting research interviews. Experience acquiring EEG data for research studies.
Brief Description of Duties:
The Research Support Specialist will assist in research examining how early temperament and other psychosocial and biological factors influence adolescents' and young adults' emotional and behavioral adjustment and functioning. The incumbent must be sensitive and attentive to the participant at all times, and be able to anticipate and deal with any discomfort they may experience. The incumbent will possess excellent interpersonal and time management skills, and attentive to details. This is a part time position 0.50 FTE.
Duties:
Schedule laboratory visits and interviews.
Run laboratory visits (EEG and behavioral tasks).
Conduct semi-structured interviews; participating in rating meetings.
Other duties or projects as assigned.
