Jenkins Architecture PLLC is a small architecture firm that primarily focuses on exterior repairs and building facades/envelopes. However, there are projects that involve redesign and upgrades of building interiors. You will be involved throughout all aspects of the project from site visits and documentation to Autocad drawings through bidding and construction. Jenkins is searching for interns studying architecture who are interested in practical real-life experience.
Requirements:
Working knowledge of Autocad and Microsoft Office.
Must be able to start right away and not this summer.
A comfort level with taking site measurements and translating those measurements to drawings.
A comfort level with taking site measurements and translating those measurements to drawings.
Good writing and communication skills.
Ability to travel to all five boroughs.
Ability to produce high quality detailed Autocad drawings.
This is a work from home/school job but will require site visits.
A strong desire to learn details and how buildings are constructed.
References from prior work experiences (does not have to be architectural)
Submission of resume and work showing Autocad ability. (Revit will not be required or needed)
Fluency in written and spoken English
Ability to travel to clients and job sites as needed.
Must be eligible to work in the United States

If you are registered for NCARB AXP, you will earn hours toward becoming licensed.
