Looking for an opportunity besides your normal accounting internship? We are seeking applications for our Energy Accounting internship at our Headquarters facility in Springfield, Missouri. This position would work directly with our Transmission Services department in our Engineering & Operations division. This is a paid internship that offers employment during the 2022-2023 school year with the opportunity to continue on through summer. Normal working days are Monday through Friday. You could also potentially receive course credit while working at AECI! Contact your school’s career center for more information.
Qualified applicants must be currently enrolled in a Business, Accounting, Finance or other related curriculum and have successfully completed two (2) years of work towards a bachelor’s degree with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or greater.
As an Energy Accounting intern, projects will likely include the following:
Develop purchase order, invoice and refund requests
Utilizing Excel to track relevant information for projects and purchase orders
Coordinating with Accounting & Finance for account coding and invoice payments
Research & data pulling
Reviewing and updating dashboards as needed
