Our Instructional Media area within Information Technology Services at Bluegrass Community and Technical College is in need of a part-time Instructional Media Technician. This position will assist with general desktop support for conference and classrooms, delivery and setup of portable audio/video (AV) equipment, trouble tickets, classroom equipment installation, LCD projector maintenance and rotations, software installations, and general troubleshooting.
The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills. They will also be a reliable, detail oriented, well-organized, clear speaking, hardworking, and self-motivated individual, who consistently demonstrates a positive attitude and willingness to exceed expectations in every task. The candidate must be able to work on multiple tasks at a time and be able to work both independently and within a team environment.

Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:
High school diploma/GED and one year related experience, or equivalent.
Understanding and experience with the following is required:
Various computer hardware specifications
Computer software installations
Troubleshooting computer and control equipment issues
Cleaning and maintenance of LCD projectors
Basic AV knowledge
Understanding and/or experience with the following is preferable but not required:
Inventory management systems or spreadsheets
Basic audiovisual cabling and connections
