Job Description:
This position is a 9-month position (August through June) and is responsible for selling tickets and will-call at various athletic events. Job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing excellent customer service at home athletic events
- Process sales in AudienceView ticketing system
- Ensure PCI compliance with cash control process
- Managing complimentary tickets at will-call
- Scanning tickets and student IDs
- Assisting customers with online ticket purchases at varied athletic events
Qualifications
- Prior experience in customer service or hospitality industry
- Prior experience with event tickets or cash handling
- Ability to handle conflict and pressure and direct question and complaints to the appropriate person
- Math skills to accurately calculate charges and make change in a high pressure situation
- Requires knowledge of, or demonstrated ability to learn specific ticketing protocols and rules pertaining to Ivy League and NCAA
- Possess a willingness and ability to support a diverse and inclusive environment.
- Basic proficiency in excel, word, internet & email capabilities.
All division employees are required to demonstrate exemplary ethical conduct and conformance to NCAA rules and regulations; the duties of the position are to be performed in compliance with all NCAA and Ivy League rules and regulations; and any rules violations on behalf of themselves or any knowledge of violations within the division are to be reported to the appropriate parties. Employees in coaching positions are required to pass the NCAA Coaches Certification Test, maintain current AED/CPR & First Aid certification (certification is available at no cost through the Division), and attend all required divisional and/or NCAA training/education programs.
