Kansas City Roos Graduate Assistant – Athletic Communications Position: The Kansas City Roos currently have an opening for a graduate assistant in the Athletic Communications office. Kansas City is a Division I athletic department that competes in the Summit League. The graduate assistant position will cover tuition and provide a monthly stipend.

Description:  For the graduate assistantship in Athletic Communications, the position will be the main athletic contact for ~3 sports and be responsible for press releases, stat coordination, social media, general day-to-day SID duties and other assigned tasks. The position will require weekend and evening hours as well as the potential to travel to some championship events. A flexible schedule will be arranged based upon graduate school class schedule.

Qualifications: A bachelor's degree Prior experience in Athletic Communications preferred

Design through Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects)

Live Stats Volleyball, Basketball and Soccer

Stat Crew Tennis and Softball

A background with a content management system (SIDEARM website management a plus)

Experience with Adobe Premiere and broadcast technology preferred
