Job Description: What We're Looking For
Baylor University's Student Activities is seeking a part-time Coordinator of Ticket Operations to join the team. As the Coordinator of Ticket Operations, you will serve a range of functions regarding ticket process for the Bill Daniel Student Center Ticket Office. The functions include creating ticket content, printing, selling, and filling web-orders, over the counter sales, and telephone sales.
A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Management, Information Systems, or related field. Up to a year of relevant work experience, and an active Christian faith are required. Three years of relevant work experiences is preferred. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What You Will Do
Assist with the selling of tickets for After Dark, Family Weekend, Pigskin Revue, All University Sing, StompFest, Waco Symphony Events and other departmental and student shows as requested
Manage ticket sales for all basketball related events (games, bus trips, etc) as well as ticket sales for nontraditional campus events (concerts, banquets, bus trips, etc).
Run reports for all ticketed shows on a regular basis
Assist with following all university prescribed accounting procedures for deposits of cash, checks, credit cards, create vouchers as necessary for refunds, and manage billing of student organizations and departments for ticket sales
Assist Athletic Department with distributing tickets for various events including, but not limited to football, basketball, and daily tickets for individual students the week of each home game
