Additional Salary Information: The graduate assistant position is a two year assignment starting Fall 2022. Contingent upon acceptance to a graduate program this scholarship will be $15,000 for each academic year. Review of applicants will begin immediately and continue until position is filled. JOB SUMMARY: Regis University’s Department of Athletics is seeking applicants for a Graduate Assistant to assist in overseeing its athletic facilities and assist in event management. The graduate assistant will provide essential support services for a 12 sport NCAA Division II athletic department. The position will report directly to the Assistant Athletic Director of Facilities and will perform tasks as assigned, including but not limited to the following below:

MAJOR DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Assist the Assistant AD of Facilities in the general upkeep of all athletic facilities, equipment, and supplies associated with natural grass, synthetic turf, and various indoor structures.
2) Assist with other departments, graduate assistants, and work studies in the event operations of all home Regis athletic games, non-athletic Regis university functions, and outside rentals.
3) Assist with scheduling practices, games, and other events for Regis athletic facilities.
4) Must be able to take the initiative and work independently with little or no supervision on any given task.
5) Must have experience or have the ability to learn field diagrams and basic rules of NCAA basketball, lacrosse, soccer, baseball, softball, and/or volleyball.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree, from an accredited institution of higher education. Applicants must be accepted into a Regis Master’s Program. Must have some experience working in a collegiate athletics environment (any division level) or at a multi-purpose venue or arena.

Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work will require evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Must be willing to stand for long periods of time. Ability to lift at least 50 pounds. Working in hazardous weather may be necessary. Some local, regional, and/or national travel may be required.
Must have a valid driver’s license and be accepted into a Regis master’s program.
