Duties and Responsibilities: •Assist in all aspects of the William Jewell College Athletic Performance program •Design and implement sport specific training programs for 3-5 assigned teams •Ability to effectively teach and execute proper technique of lifts and drills •Supervise team workouts in Director of Athletic Performance’ absence •Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the Athletic Performance facility •Comply with all appropriate William Jewell College, Great Lakes Valley Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations. •Other related duties assigned by Director of Athletic Performance and Athletic Director

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

•Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required (exercise science related field preferred) •Working toward or already obtained a certification from an accredited strength and conditioning organization (CSCCa, NSCA, USAW, etc.). •Possess CPR/AED and First Aid certification •Experience working in a NCAA/NAIA 4-year college or university weight room with a variety of teams is preferred •Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and strength and conditioning related technology is encouraged.

Working Conditions:

•Ability to lift and carry 50 –75 pounds •Ability to withstand adverse weather conditions, i.e., extreme heat or cold •Long hours and weekend work are required
