Job Description: What We Are Looking For
The Athletics Performance Assistant - Olympic Sports is responsible for assisting in the physical preparation of various teams through the use of sport specific, scientifically based training programs that develop the speed, strength, and work capacity of student-athletes. This position will also have other administrative duties as assigned.
This is a part-time position with an estimated 25 hours per week of scheduled work. A Bachelor's degree, two years of relevant work experience, and an active Christian faith are required. Additionally, one of the following two national certifications is required: SCCC and/or CSCS. All applicants need CPR/AED certification. Once obtained, all certifications must remain current and not expired. Self-starter who works efficiently. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong organizational and communication skills. A Master's degree, three years relevant work experience, and prior experience in Sports Performance or a Related field is preferred.
Work Hours Business hours; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m, Monday through Friday plus evenings and weekends. Experience will not be considered in lieu of the educational requirement. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
