Department Information
The Indiana Institute on Disability and Community (IIDC) is one of only 67 University Centers for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities. The Institute conducts research and training through 7 Centers: Early Childhood Center, Center on Education and Lifelong Learning, Center on Community Living and Careers, Center for Health Equity, Indiana Resource Center for Autism, Center for Collaborative Systems Change, and the Eppley Institute on Parks and Public Lands.
The Eppley Institute is Indiana University's unique outreach program for the park, recreation, and public land management professions and works to enhance the quality of natural, cultural, and recreational experiences for all people. The Institute provides expertise in several areas, including technical assistance and research, planning and design, and training and education for the National Park Service, state parks, municipal governments, and other similar organizations around the world.
Job Summary
Department Specific Responsibilities
Data entry and analysis.
Creation of graphs, charts, and training reports, and internal and external reports.
Alpha testing of online e-courses.
Classroom training organization and management, including proofreading all materials, printing and formatting manuals and materials.
Grading of assignments for Institute programs and online certificate programs.
Communication with Institute partners as needed.
Performs background research and analysis to support Institute projects.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Required
High School diploma or GED.
SKILLS
Required

Written communication - writes clearly and informatively, varies writing styles to effectively meet needs; takes appropriate business tone with internal staff and when working with outside partners.

Experience with Microsoft Office.
Experience with editing, proofreading, writing, and formatting documents required
Preferred
Experience with InDesign strongly preferred.
Experience with Zoom is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience with web-based survey software is preferred but not mandatory.
