Job Summary
The Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering Office of Diversity and Inclusion (LODI) Student Assistant position is ideal for enthusiastic undergraduate students who are interested in providing an inclusive experience for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and visitors who interact with LODI. This student position will assist with various administrative functions, programming, and event planning for LODI. This position will work directly with the Assistant Dean for Diversity and Inclusion.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Perform administrative duties related to the daily LODI tasks.
Assist with planning and implementing various diversity and inclusion programming and initiatives.
Assist with diversity and inclusion special projects.
Assist with communications to increase and maintain the visibility of LODI.
Actively interact with the Luddy community, IUB community, prospective students and their families.
Participate in professional development seminars.
Participate in special events.

EDUCATION
Required
Currently enrolled as a student at Indiana University.
Eligible for work-study.

Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
Microsoft Office proficiency.
Willingness to learn new skills.
Preferred
Ability to work both autonomously and with teams.
Interest in technology.
Knowledge of various social media platforms.
Graphic design interest and/or experience.
Positive attitude.
Work Location
Bloomington, Indiana
Work Hours
5-10 hours per week. Flexible schedule, with evenings and some weekends.
