The College of Arts and Sciences is the largest academic unit at Indiana University Bloomington. It is composed of 40+ departments, 50+ Centers, Programs, and Institutes, while also including the Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture and Design, the Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies, and The Media School. Faculty in the College teach over 50 percent of the Indiana University (Bloomington) credit hours in 80+ buildings on the Bloomington campus.

Ensures that any visitor experience at the Walter Center is unforgettable.
Maintains the daily appointment spreadsheet and assists with general office management.
Maintains inventory of WCCA materials, office supplies, food and beverage, and other special items as requested.
Supports event coordination / planning and assists with events and retreats as needed.
Helps keep to the welcome desk and guest lounge free of clutter and promptly communicates with physical facilities and building services regarding immediate needs.
Assists in the timely management of p-card reconciliation, requisition entry, and foundation and travel reimbursements.
Involved in survey administration and report sharing, along with student engagement data entry.
Offers support to three dynamic Walter Center teams: Career Education, Employer Relations, and Strategic Alumni Engagement.
Note: This position is intended to be a regular and ongoing part-time position, contributing as a team member of the Walter Center Team.
High school diploma or GED.
1 year of office experience.
Customer service orientation and ability to interact with a wide variety of individuals within a diverse environment.

Working Conditions / Demands
This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation. Available to work a flexible work week with some rare weekend coverage.
