Western Kentucky University, Department of Athletics, is seeking applications for Ticket Operations Graduate Assistant beginning August 1st 2022. This is a 24-month, part-time position that reports to the Director of Ticket Operations/Director of Ticket Sales and Service. Applicants must have a commitment to and responsibility for adhering to all rules and regulations of WKU, Conference USA and the NCAA.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The following duties are customary for this position, but are not to be construed as all-inclusive. Duties may be added, deleted and assigned based on management discretion and institutional needs.
Processes ticket orders for season tickets and individual game tickets for Football, Volleyball, Women’s Soccer, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Baseball, and Softball.
Manage student worker schedule and assist in training/supervising.
Manage all aspects of ticket operations for Volleyball, Baseball, and Softball.
Assist with game day ticket operations for Football and Men’s/Women’s Basketball.
Assist the Marketing Department with the planning, coordinating, and implementation of the marketing strategies for ticket sales, special promotions, and partnerships.
Assist with ticket inventory for home games and special events.
Assist management with ideas and implement them to generate ticket sales revenues.
Maintain sales database through Ticketmaster and record keeping for all prospecting activities.
Manage the Ticket Sales Customer Relationship Management software for outbound sales.
All other tasks as assigned by the Director of Ticket Operations.

Experience in game operations and/or facility operations is highly desirable

Ability to lift and move athletics equipment up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Sport Management or related field
Preferred 1 year of experience in a Division I athletic department
Acceptance into a graduate program at Western Kentucky University
Must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA in undergraduate studies
