Sidwell Friends School, a coeducational Quaker day school with campuses in Washington, DC and Bethesda, MD is seeking a robotics team assistant coach supporting grades 9-12. This position provides support and supervision of students in the classroom. Responsibilities will include supervising students during weekend robotics team meetings and competitions.
Successful candidates will possess at least a high school diploma and prior experience working with children; bachelor’s level course work is a plus. Additional qualifications include strong technology skills, organization and communication skills, flexibility, patience, sense of humor, and a demonstrated love for working with students. Robotics and/or Engineering experience is a plus but not a requirement.
This is an hourly position and the candidate must be able to work Sundays from 12pm-4pm. The position is available for the 2022-2023 school year. Candidates will need to be able to successfully complete all background checking requirements at the time of hire, routine testing for COVID-19 as well as adherence to all health and safety protocols associated with working on campus. Current CPR/AED certification is required.
Positions at Sidwell Friends School are campus-based; therefore, this position requires working with students in person.
