Position Summary and Responsibilities
The Part Time Preschool Curriculum Coordinator is a 20-30 hour per week position from August 2022-June 2023.
The coordinator will work alongside the preschool teachers, acting as an essential part of the teaching team while also modeling developmentally appropriate practice, emergent curriculum, documentation, assessment, responsive care, parent teacher conferences, reflective teaching, and positive guidance and discipline. The ideal candidate will coordinate and support regularly scheduled planning and reflective team teaching meetings. The coordinator will support collaborative teaching strategies and strength based mentorship, while modeling teaching practices that align with the vision and goals of the laboratory nursery school.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 year Degree in Early Childhood Education or Related Field.
• Experience with Emergent Curriculum and Innovative Teaching Strategies.
• Experience mentoring in a reflective teaching model.
• Experience and knowledge of social-emotional development, social coaching and conflict. resolution for young children.
