Middle School Religion Teacher

St. Martin’s Episcopal School in Metairie is seeking a part-time Middle School Religion Teacher for the 2022-2023 academic school year. Duties include teaching two daily sections of a single grade level for each academic quarter.

The courses include 5th Grade: Introduction to Hebrew Scriptures, 6th and 7th Grade: New Testament, and 8th Grade: Religions of the World. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to increasing the religious literacy of our students but also to creatively collaborating with a closely knit Middle School team to design occasional interdisciplinary learning experiences.

The religion program is intended to reflect the school’s Episcopal identity and to practice the motto, “We prepare students to thrive in college and in life through Faith, Scholarship and Service.”
