Description: A part-time lecturer is sought to teach one or more master's level public health courses in the MPH@Baylor program. This online program is offered on a quarter system with all courses in the Master of Public Health program offered each quarter. The course this person will be hired to teach is described below. The lecturer will be expected to perform all duties and expectations of a Baylor teacher of record. The person in this position will teach for the Fall quarter of the online MPH@Baylor program, 6/27/2022-9/11/2022.
PUBH 5379: Research Methods (3 credits)
This course focuses on developmental theory, research design and methodology, gathering of data, statistical analysis and evaluation, and research reporting as they relate to human research. Conducting and interpreting research is a necessary skill that all students at the graduate level should learn. Whether continuing to the doctoral level and higher education, medical school, or continuing in public health, health education, health promotion or other disciplines, research and statistics can be used in everyday professional life.
Qualifications: Applicants must have completed a doctoral degree in public health and/or a field related to the specific courses hired to teach. University teaching and online experience are strongly preferred.

(Place each reference in a separate document to upload individually.) All materials mustbe submitted as PDF (portable document format) files in the Interfolio system.
