We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic professional to provide social-emotional support to students in grades K-8, understand the developmental stages of student growth from age 5-14, and be comfortable in a progressive and hands-on learning environment. This position reports to the Director of Teaching and Learning, works closely with classroom teachers, and serves as a member of the school’s student support team.

Responsibilities:
Administer appropriate assessments to identify the social, emotional and behavioral needs of students
Work with Learning Support Services team to create and monitor intervention plans (ILP/IEP/504) related to SEL interventions
Develop and lead individual and group therapy sessions
Monitor student progress
Consult with and provide education for faculty, staff, administrators, and parents on topics related to mental health in children
Work collaboratively with faculty and staff

Requirements:
MSW, MFT, MEdSC, or MSC in social-work or school counseling required
Licensure in the State of California preferred
Familiarity with school social-work or counseling Codes of Ethics and Standards and local statutes, laws, policies and procedures governing school social workers
Three years professional experience in a school environment preferred
