Reporting to the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Information (SID), the Game Day Operations Manager will assist with gameday operations setup, live stat entry, website management, social media, and supervision of game day student work crew.
Specific Responsibilities & Essential Functions Game Day Manager is expected to support and enhance Bryn Athyn College (BAC) Athletics mission that fosters commitment, sportsmanship, and charity. BAC is a member of NCAA Division III member, as well as a full member in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC).
Game Day Manager Duties and responsibilities include: •Game Day Operations Manager will provide operational and support services for the intercollegiate athletic program and assist the athletic department with game day operations, pre-game setup, post-game breakdown and wrap up. •This position serves a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Athletics Department in an effort to achieve operational excellence •The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented multi-tasker who is adept at prioritizing responsibilities, passionate about customer service, and has a genuine interest in athletics and the inner workings of a Division III Athletics Department •The position is in constant communication with members of the athletics department, as well campus offices, vendors, and other external stakeholders •Position assists with maintaining live stream and all pre-game media, including national anthem delivery for W Field Hockey, M/W Soccer, M/W Volleyball, M/W Basketball, M/W Lacrosse •Serve as primary live stat entry person for all above sports •Assist SID with writing game recaps •Gather and compile statistical information for BAC athletics website •Assist with managing game day student work crew •Assist SID with social media posts for athletic accounts •Set up and break down of field/gym before and after contests •Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Line of Reports The Game Day Operations Manager reports to the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Information and will work closely with the Associate Athletic Director for Facilities and Operations.
Criteria & Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree required • Previous operations experience in a NCAA school is preferred • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written • Team focused and interest in working in a highly collaborative environment • Ability to exercise sound judgment and work effectively under pressure • Proven ability to manage multiple complex tasks independently • Evening/weekend work required
