This unique role at the Center for Entrepreneurial Studies (CES) leads planning and execution of The Botha Chan Innovation Internship Program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. The Botha Chan Program is an 8-week summer experiential education program allowing MBA students to spend their summer learning to evaluate a new venture idea. Students selected for the program actively evaluate an idea of their own creation. The Associate Director (AD) will lead the strategy, implementation, and measurement of impact for this program, working closely with Stanford GSB faculty, graduate students, program mentors, and program donors.
This is a one-year Fixed-Term, part-time (20 hours per week), with full time hours for the 8 weeks during which the program operates in the summer. The position is hybrid for most of the year, with fully in-person, on-campus presence for the 8 weeks the program operates in summer.
Your primary responsibilities include:
Lead all strategic planning and implementation of the program.
Identify student learning needs, select relevant curriculum resources in partnership with faculty, and organize/curate workshops and events to support learning.
Manage the application process for selecting participants.
Develop, plan for, and execute complex logistical operations for this summer co-curricular learning program.
Evaluate & analyze program impact, maintain program records, and use this information to lead continuous program improvements and to report program results within the GSB and to donors.
Manage all program communications with students, program mentors, faculty, staff, and donors.
Be a resource for students helping to guide them through the program and process.
Manage the program to budget.
Provide direction for staff helping with program implementation.

To be successful in this position, you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree and three years applicable experience, or combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
Excellent program/project management skills. Ability to plan, organize, and implement a program with a high volume of activities with attention to detail.
Excellent oral, written, and analytical skills.
Good analytic skills enabling the assessment of program impact.
Ability to oversee and direct staff.
Ability to manage budgets and develop financial plans.
In addition, preferred skills and abilities include:
Familiarity with, and interest in, entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial learning, or startups is helpful, albeit not required.
