IU Dining provides a dynamic work environment with a variety of events, from weddings, private events, fine dining and casual.
Catering bartenders provide high guest service while enforcing policies and safety.
Ensures guests have a positive, memorable experience.
Assists with bar set-up/close-down plans including cash close-out.
Maintains standards ensuring consistent presentation, aesthetics of setting and quality of beverage service.
Attends beer, wine and spirits trainings.
Assists with catering events.
General knowledge at the high school level.
Previous bartending experience.
LICENCES / CERTIFICATIONS
Ability to obtain Alcohol Serving Permit.
General knowledge of bartending and mixology, along with food safety practices.
21 years of age or older.
Working Conditions / Demands
Ability to lift 30 pounds. Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.
