ALUMNI RELATIONS (UA-ALUM-IUBLA)
The Indiana University Alumni Association's mission is to activate and support the global alumni network -- encouraging alumni to grow a lifelong connection with Indiana University and inspiring their ongoing generosity toward each other and the university.

The award-winning Alumni Marketing department develops strategy and produces deliverables that address the editorial and promotional needs of IU Alumni Association programs and initiatives. As we engage with IU's nearly 750,000 graduates, one important goal is to acquire and steward members of the Alumni Association.
Writes, edits, and proofreads content for email, social media, the Pride of IU website, IUAA publications (such as the Alumni Insider e-newsletter and the print IU Alumni Magazine ), and a wide range of IUAA-related marketing materials.
Additional duties may include research, fact checking, and other editorial and administrative tasks that support the work of the department. Actively participates in meetings and manages workflow and schedule, as appropriate.
EDUCATION / WORK EXPERIENCE
Currently enrolled as a student at Indiana University.
Relevant experience gained from course work, internships, and other pursuits.
Excellent writing and editing skills.
Understanding of the importance of maintaining a brand's voice.
Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
Knowledge of general university happenings, history, activities, athletic events, alumni accomplishments, etc., with a passion for Indiana University!

Duration: November 2021 through April 2022, with possibility of extension.
15 hours per week, scheduled within Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
