Lincoln School, founded in 1884, is an independent K–12 Quaker girls’ school in Providence, Rhode Island with a coeducational preschool for ages 6 weeks through 5 years. The Upper School is currently seeking applicants for a part-time (0.75 FTE) World Language Department Faculty member for Semester 2 of 2022. The ideal candidate will have at least three (3) years of teaching experience and must be comfortable working with Spanish students at a range of skill levels. The successful candidate will also be an active member of the World Language Department team, and will have experience with student-centered teaching and the confidence and skills to meet the needs of a variety of learners in the Upper School grades. A commitment to an all-girls environment, and the desire to inspire and engage young women in all four language skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening) and cultural exploration are essential. An advanced degree is preferred, though not required.
